Meet the Agro-Hub Coorperative Society
Agro-Hub was founded in 2009 as a Common Initiative Group (CIG) with headquarter in Buea. AGRO-HUB was later upgraded to a Simple Cooperative Society in 2013. In 2017 it was transformed into a Co-operative with Board of Directors.
Agro-Hub has direct access to nearly 61,000 farmers in Fako Division and 150,000 farmers in Cameroon through our cooperative body and can access over 5million across Cameroon indirectly through agricultural extension workers who are part of our partner network.

Vision
Agro-Hub was founded in 2009 after an observation that Cameroon’s agriculture lags because of an abject lack in marketing and distribution infrastructure.
Marketing and Sales cannot happen without the exchange of information, yet it is still difficult to access relevant authoritative content on agriculture in Cameroon.
It is this finding that led the founding members to create an agency with the sole purpose of facilitating rural farmers’ access to market and distribution infrastructure.
Agro-Hub exists to help farmers gain access to profitable sustainable markets with a vision to become a leader in the marketing and distribution of Cameroon’s staple agricultural products at home and abroad. Agro-Hub is therefore on a mission to make Cameroon’s agricultural content more accessible and to create sustainable buyer-supplier relationships one buyer and one farmer at a time.

Why
Farmers want access to better markets but they lack the skills and resources needed to effectively market and distribute their products.
On the other hand, Buyers want access to reliable suppliers but are faced with the challenge of developing sustainable supply chains with multiple smallholder farmers.
